Roasted Chana Ladoo OR Madalu

Use proper measurements for good result.
Roasted Chana Dal/ gram dal – 1 cup
Sugar – ½ cup
Ghee – ¼ cup and 1 tbsp
Cashew – 10-12 pieces
Raisins – 7-8 pieces
Green Cardamom pwdr – 1/8 tsp
Grind roasted chana/ gram dal in a dry grinder for fine powder
Place the flour in wide bowl.
Grind sugar and make sugar powder, mix it in the same pan.
Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a small pan and fry cashew till they turn golden, mix it in the ladoo mixture.
Now fry rasins in same ghee till they pop up and mix ghee and rasins in the ladoo mixture
Add cardamom pwdr to the mix and mix this mixture nicely with hands.
Now melt and mix ¼ cup ghee in the mixture, mix them nicely with hands (you can also use spatula).
Now make small or medium size ladoo and let it cool.
You can preserve by putting it in air tight box.
You can roast Chana Dal (without changing color) before making grinding it.
Always use fresh chana dal for making this ladoo.
Take roasted chana
Take sugar in a blander, make powder
Add powdered sugar to the grinded chana
First fry cashew in ghee
Then fry raisins
Add raisins, cashew and cardamom pwdr to the mix
Heat the ghee
Pour it in the mix
