Today I am sharing one more paratha recipe paneer paratha. This paratha is very tasty, healthy and easy to make. If you have paneer but do not have time to cook gravy, you can make this easy paratha which you can eat with plain curd or pickle or any chutney. Kids also love to eat this paratha. Pre time – 10 mins

Cook time – 20 mins

Recipe type – breakfast

Cuisine – north indian



Mesurements cup used, 1 cup = 220 ml

Paneer/cottage cheese – 250 g (grated)

Wheat flour – 1 ½ cup

Besan – ¼ cup

Red chilly pwdr – ½ tsp

Ginger – ½ inch (grated)

Dry mango powder – ½ tsp

Garam masala – ¼ tsp

Coriander leaves – 1 to 2 tbsp

Ajwain/onion seeds – ½ tsp

Ghee – 1 tsp

Salt – as per taste

Water – 1 cup or as needed


for making dough

Take wheat flour,besan,ajwain/onion seeds,ghee and salt in mixing bowl. Now slowly add water in it and make little smooth dough. Cover with plate and Let it rest for 15 min. after 15 min again mash the dough with hands to make dough soft( if need wet your hands with water). Your dough is ready.

for making stuffing

In a plate take grated paneer/cottage cheese,red chiily,salt,dry mango pwdr,garam masala,grated ginger and coriander leaves. Mix them well. Now your stuffing is ready.

For making paratha

 Now take medium apple size dough and ro

For rolling paratha

1.Take a medium ball of dough, roll & flatten it

2. Dust it with some floor and make a circle of about 5 inch with fingers

3. Place 1 ½ – 2 tsp of paneer stuffing in the center and cover the stuffing with remaining dough of the circle

4. Flatten it again and sprinkle some dusting floor and roll this paratha with rolling pin as you do for normal chapati or paratha

Rosting Paratha

  1. On a hot tawa, placed the paratha (tawa should be hot)

  2. When the base is partially cooked, flip the paratha

  3. Spread some ghee on the partially cooked paratha and on the sides as well

  4. Flip it again and spread some ghee on the other side as well

  5. If you have paratha presser, press the paratha to make it crispy or you can use flat spatula

  6. Cook both the sides nicely

  7. now your paratha is ready serve it with curd or raita or chutney.


if you like you can add finely chopped onion and green chilly to the stuffing.

In Short


Take both flour, ghee, ajwain and salt                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               


Make the dough soft


Take paneer, dry mango, garam masala, red chilly, grated ginger,coriander and salt


Mix well


Divoid into ball


Make it flatten and keep stuffing



Cover the stuffing


Apply some dry flour



Shallow fry it on tava

Cook both the sides


Paneer paratha is ready
