RAW BANANA FRY
Raw banana fry is a delicious south indian side dish. This is my daughter’s favorite. For this recipe we need samber powder , i am using home made samber powder. This side dish goes well with curd rice, dal rice and sambar rice. Try this recipe and share your valuable feedback.
Preperetion time – 10 mins
Cooking time – 30 mins

Serve – 3-4
Raw banana – 3 (big) or 500 g
Sambar powder – 1 ½ tbsp
Oil – 3 – 4 tbsp (shallow fry)
Take banana wash , peel and chop it in slices ( medium thick).
In a deep vessel or big plate, take sliced banana, sambar powder and salt.
Mix them well, sprinkle some water (not much) , mix again and leave it for 5 mins.
Now for shallow fry heat oil in a kadai. Place 6-7 banana slice to the oil in a time , keep the flame medium and let it cook.
When the banana cooked one side , turn them other side and cook . Till they turn golden brown.
Cook rest banana slices with the same method.
Your raw banana fry is ready ,serve them with curd rice , dal rice or with other rice item as side dish.
Wash the banana
Peel them and cut into medium thick slices
Add sambar powder and salt, sprinkle some water
Mix well, keep aside for 5-10 mins
Heat oil for for shallow fry
Shallow fry banana slices on medium heat
Shallow fry until golden
Banana fry is ready
