Mixed Veg And Paneer Bhurji

Serve – 3-4



Cup size 1 cup – 220ml

Capsicum – 2 medium (finely chopped)

Green peas/matar – ½ cup

Beans – 3-4 ( finely chopped)

Carrot – 1 medium (grated)

Potato – 1 big (boiled and mashed)

Tomato – 1 medium (chopped)

Paneer/cottage cheese – 100 g (crumbled)

Onion – 1 medium (finely chopped)

Ginger-garlic –  1 tsp (grated or paste)

Cumin/ jeera – ½ tsp

Kasuri methi – ¼ tsp

Red chilly powder – ½ to 1 tsp

Turmeric – ½ tsp

Coriander powder – 1 tsp

Garam masala or pav bhaji masala powder – ½ to 1 tsp

Oil/butter – 1 ½ tbsp to 2 tbsp


Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing







Boil, peel and mash the potato. Keep a side.

Chop all veggies, onion and crumble the paneer.

Heat oil add cumin, let crackle.

Add onion saute till translucent.

Add capsicum, beans and green peas, saute and stir for 2 minutes so the veggies  will cook little.

Add ginger-garlic, fry for a minute.

Add tomato, kasuri methi, red chilly, turmeric, coriander, garam masala OR Pav Bhaji masala and salt.

Saute till tomato get mushy.

Now add mashed potato, crumbled paneer and grated carrot.

Stir well and cook for a minute over simmer.

Finally garnish with coriander leaves and switch off the flame.

Serve it with paratha, chapati or puri.

Add green peas and capsicum, saute them for 2 min


Add ginger and garlic, saute them for a min


Add kasuri methi, tomato, red chilly powder, turmeric, garam masala OR pav bhaji masala,  coriander and salt


Saute for a minute till tomato gets mushy


Add potato, paneer and carrot, stir well


Cook for a minutes over simmer, add chopped  coriander


Stir well , mixed veg and paneer bhurji is ready
