Easy Chicken Fry Recipe

Very easy, spicy and yummy chicken fry recipe. No need any pre preparation or no need ginger-garlic.

You can make this dish in within ½ hour. lets see how to make this easy chicken fry recipe.

Preparation time – 5 min

Marination time – 15 min to ½ hour

Cooking time – for deep fry 2-3 mins per batch and in airfryer 8 to 10 min

Recipe type – Starters

Ingredients

Chicken (with bone) – 500 g cut in medium or small pieces

Chicken or mutton masala – 1 ½ tbsp (you can buy from the shop)

Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp

Coriander powder – 1 – 1 ½ tsp

Turmeric powder – 1 tsp

Pepper powder – 1 – 1 ½ tbsp

Curry leaves – 2 stem

Lemon – 1 tsp or 1 big

Salt – as per taste

Oil – for deep fry or 1 ½ tbsp if doing airfryer

Water just to sprinkle

 

Method

Rinse the chicken and drain it completely.

In a bowl take chicken pieces.

Add mutton or chicken masala, red chilly, coriander powder, turmeric, pepper powder, curry leaves and salt.

Sprinkle some water and mix well.

Keep it in refrigerator for 15 min to 30 min.

After 30 min for deep frying, heat oil in a kadai for deep frying.

Add 5-6 chicken pieces and deep fry till they get tender and brown over medium flame.

If you are using air fryer, preheat airfryer at 180” for 5 mins.

Meanwhile add 1 ½ tbsp of oil to the chicken, mix nicely.

After preheating air fryer place 9-10 chicken pieces to the airfryer tray and air fry them for 10-12 mins .

Follow  the same method for other chicken pieces.

Chicken fry is ready.

Add 1 big lemon juice

Sprinkle some water and mix well,for marination keep  it in refrigerator for 15 – 30 min

Heat oil and deep fry chicken piec

Fry till they get tender and brown OR

For airfrying add 1 1/2 tbsp of oil to the chicken

Preheat the airfryer at 180” , place 9-10 chicken pieces at a time

Air Fry it for 10 -12 mins,  chicken fry is ready
