Garlic Mushroom pasta

Recipe type – breakfast/ dinner
Serve – 2
Measurement cup used, 1 cup = 220 ml
Pasta (any pasta) – 1 cup
Water for boiling pasta
Mushroom – ¾ cup to 1 cup (sliced)
Garlic clove (big) – 5-6 (sliced or crushed)
Onion – 1 small to medium (chopped)
Spring onion green part – 3-4 tbsp
Red chilly flacks – 1 tsp to 1 tbsp
Oregano or any other Italian seasoning – 1 tsp
Cheese slice – 1 or any cheese grated – 1-2 tbsp
Butter – 1 tsp
Olive oil/ sunflower oil – 2 tsp
Salt as per taste
In a large bowl heat water.
When the water stars boiling add salt and pasta.
Boil pasta till it gets soft. (if you are in hurry pressure cook pasta for 1 whistle)
Drain it and keep aside.
Melt butter in a non stick pan, add sliced mushroom and ¼ tsp of salt, saute and stir.
After some time mushroom will release moisture, keep stirring.
Cook mushroom till the moisture gets evaporated and mushroom gets dry. Keep it aside.
Medium heat oil in a pan add sliced or crushed garlic, immediately add onion.
Saute them till onion turns soft and translucent.
Add chopped green spring onion, stir for 5-7 seconds.
Now turn the flame at low and add cooked pasta, mushroom, red chili flakes, oregano and and cheese slice. (if needed adjust salt)
Now at medium flame stir them well. And then turn off the flame.
Garlic – mushroom pasta is ready to eat.
Instead off oregano you can add any other italian seasoning.
With mushroom you can add some chopped veggies too.
If you do not have red chili flakes add pepper powder.
Heat up water in a vessel
When the water starts to boil add pasta and cook over medium flame till it gets done or soft
Melt butter in a non – stick pan
Mushroom will release some water, let it evourets
Saute till mushroom gets slightly brown, take it out
Heat little oil and add sliced garlic
immediately add chopped garlic, saute till onion turns soft
Add spring onion (green part)
Stir for 5-6 seconds
Add cheese and oregano
Add chili flacks and stir well
Garlic mushroom pasta is ready
