Paneer Pop Corn / Easy Paneer Snacks

Paneer popcorn is easy and yummy evening snack idea especially for this rainy season. This is not my own recipe i have adopted this recipe from chef kunal kapur but i have added few more ingredients to make this dish more tasty. For making paneer popcorn always use soft and fresh paneer. If you like my recipes please share your feedback.
Preparation time – 10 minutes
Cooking Time – 20 minutes
Cuisine – Indian
Serve – 3-4
Measurement cup used – 1 cup = 220 ml
Paneer / cottage cheese – 250 -300 g (cut into small – medium size cubes)
Ginger – garlic paste – 1 tsp
Mustard oil – 1 ½ tbsp.
Red chili powder – ½ – 1tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Kasuri methi / dry fenugreek leaves – 1 tsp
Black pepper / kalimirch powder – ½ tsp (optional)
Asafotida / hing – 2 pinch
Black salt – 1/8 tsp
Lemon – 1 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Maida / all perpose flour – ¾ cup
Bread crumbs – 1 cup
Water as needed
Oil – for deep frying
Cut the paneer into cubes.
In a mixing bowl take mustard oil.
Add ginger garlic paste, red chili, turmeric, black pepper powder, black salt, white salt, kasuri methi, lemon juice, hing and salt, mix well.
Add paneer cubes to this mixture. Coat them well.
In another bowl take maida. Add pinch of red chili powder and salt.
Add some water and make thick batter.
Dip paneer cubes into the batter and coat well with bread crumbs by using another hand.
Heat oil in a kadai for deep frying and deep fry them until golden brown.
serve with tomato sauce and green chutney.
Use good quality soft paneer.
Cut the paneer into cubes

Ginger garlic paste
Add red chili, turmeric, black pepper powder, black salt and kasuri methi
Add lemon juice
Add white salt
Add the paneer cubes and coat them well
Take maida in a bowl
Add red chili and salt
Add water and make thick batter
Dip paneer cube in this batter
Coat it with bread crumbs by using another hand
Heat oil and place 3-4 paneer cubes for deep frying
fry until golden brown
Paneer popcorn is ready
