Easy Stuffed Bhindi / Easy Stuffed Okra /Bharwa Bhindi
Stuffed bhindi or bharwa bhindi is very easy, spicy and delicious side dish. serve with hot chapati or steamed rice and dal, it goes very well even with paratha. Try this easy method of making bharwa bhindi and share your feedback.
Preparation time – 20 mins
Cooking time – 10 mins
Recipe type – side dish
Serve – 2-3
Measurement cup used 1 cup = 240 ml
Bhindi / Okra / ladyfinger – 350 g
Garlic clove – 8 – 10, paste or crushed
Coriander powder / dhaniya powder – 5-6 tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Red chili powder – ½ – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala powder – ¼ tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp + 1 tsp
Salt – as per tatse
Water – 1-2 tbsp or as needed
Note – if you do not want to use garlic then add 1 tbsp of amchur powder
Rinse the Bhindi in running water, drain it completely.
Trim the head and the base. Then give a slit cut on the each bhindi with a knife. If bhindi is big in size devoid in two parts. Set aside.
In a small bowl take coriander powder, turmeric, red chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala , salt and garlic OR amchur powder.
Add 1 tsp of oil.
Then add little water (not much) to make thick paste.
Stuff this thick paste equally to the bhindi.
Heat oil in a kadai.
Transfer stffed bhindi to it and cover it up for 2- 3 minutes over medium flame.
After 2-3 open the lid then turn the side of bhindi with help of spatula and cook it without using lid.
Cook for 3-4 minutes or until bhindi gets cooked.
Serve this stuffed bhindi with hot chapati.
Rinse bhindi and drain them compeletly

Ready for the stuffing
In a small bowl take coriander powder, turmeric, red chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala ans salt
Add ginger (crushed or paste)
Add little water and 1 tsp oil to make thick very paste
Fill it equally in bhindi
Stuff bhindi is ready for cooking
Transfer the stuffed bhindi, stir gently
Cover it up with the lid and cook for 2-3 minutes at medium flame
Open the lid stir gently to change the sides and cook for 2-3 more minutes or untill bhindi gets cooked with using lid
Stuff bhindi is ready serve with hot chapati or dal rice
