Tava Prawns Fry
Preparation time – 5 mins
Cooking time – 10 mins
Recipe Type – starters
Serve – 2-3
Measurement cup used 1 cup = 240 ml
Prawns – 500 g ( cleaned and deveined )
Ginger- garlic (paste or crushed) – 1 tbsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Kashmiri red chili powder – 1 tsp, for color
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 2 tsp
Black pepper / Kalimirch (crushed) – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – 2 stem
Curd – 2 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Oil – 2 tbsp
Wash the cleaned and deveined prawns and drain it compeletly
Add kashmiri red chili, red chili, turmeric, coriander, crushed black pepper, curry leaves, curd, salt and ginger- garlic.
Mix the whole mixture well so that prawns gets coated well with masala. Keep it in refrigerator for 5 mins for marination.
Heat up oil in the dosa tava or non – stick tava.
Place the marinated prawns
Stir and fry over medium heat. Stir gently.
Cook prawns for about 7-8 minutes and stir in between.
