Til Chicken Tikka

Ingredients

Measurement cup used 1 cup – 240 ml, cut into cubes

Chicken, boneless – 500 g , cut into 1 ” pieces

Butter or oil – 2 tbsp

Til/ sesame seeds – 2 tbsp

Hung curd  – 3/4 cup

lemon juice – 1 tbsp

Red chili powder – 2 tsp or as per taste

Kashmiri red chili powder – 1 tsp

(Seeds of 2 black cardamom + 4 green cardamom) + 1/2 mace (javetri) – Crushed nicely

Nutmeg Powder – 1/4 tsp

Black peppercorns/ Kalimirch – 1/2 – 1 tsp , crushed

Egg – 1

Rice flour – 1 tsp

Maida – 1 tsp

Salt – as per taste

Take 1/2 kg boneless chicken . Rinse very well with then drain it compeletly.

Add 3/4 cup of hung curd, 1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp kashmiri red chili powder, 1 tsp crushed black pepper,1/4 tsp nutmeg

Add nicely crushed seeds of 2 black cardamom + 4 green cardamom + 1/2 mace (javetri).

Mix very well with your hand, then keep it in refrigareter for 1/2 hour to marinate the chicken.

After 1/2 hour add 1 egg, 1 tsp rice flour and 1 tsp maida.

Mix very well.

For cooking in air fryer preheat the air fryer for 5 mins at 180 ” then place the chicken tikkas one by one on air fryer’s rack, sprinkle some til / sesame seeds on the top of it.. Now air fry it for 12 -15 minutes at 180”.

After 15 minutes til chicken tikka is ready, serve with onion rings and green chutney or pudina chutneey.
