Milkmaid Coconut Ladoo / Quick And Easy Coconut Ladoo

INGREDIENTS:

Measurement cup used 1 cup = 240 ml   

Fresh finely grated coconut or desiccated coconut – 2 cups

Desiccated coconut – 1/3 cup for rolling or coating

Milkmaid – ¾ tin for medium sweetness Or 1 tin if you like more sweet

Cardamom powder – 1/8 tsp Or take 3-4 cardamom’s seeds and make powder

 

Method;

 

Take a non – stick kadai or pan.

Pour 3/4 or 1 tin condense milk in it.

Also add 2 cups fresh grated coconut or desiccated coconut.

Stir very well and start heating it up at low – medium heat.

Once the mixture has begun to thicken, then keep stirring regularly.

After some time you will see the mixture starts to live the sides of the pan. Cook continuously till all the moisture evaporates . The mixture should not be soggy else it will not gets good shape when rolled. Here if you want add roasted nuts.

Finally add cardamom powder and turn off the heat. Mix very well.

When the temperature comes down to warm, take small portion of the mixture and roll to balls.

Roll or coat each ball with desiccated coconut. 

Store coconut ladoo in a airtight jar and consume them within a week.
