Hot Szechuan pasta recipe / how to make hot Szechuan pasta

Few day back I made szechuan sauce in bulk so now days I am making more recipes related to szechuan sauce. Today I made hot and spicy sechuan pasta. It was so delicious and of course spicy too because of hot n spicy sechuan sauce. For making szechuan pasta you can also use szechuan sauce which are available in market but at my home I normally prefer home made recipes, without any preservative and safe. Try this easy hot and spicy szechuan pasta recipe and share your feed back with us.
Preparation time – 5 minutes
Cooking time – 15 minutes
Cuisine – Indo – Chinese
Measurement cup used 1 cup = 240 ml
Spaghetti or any pasta – 200 g
Green peas – 1/3 cup, if using fresh peas boil it for a minute
Butter or olive oil – 1 tbsp
Szechuan sauce – 2-3 tbsp or add accordingly
Black pepper – ¼ tsp (optional), if you are making for kids avoid
Dry parsley – 1/2 tsp or chopped fresh coriander leaves – 1 tbsp or use any Italian herb
Mozzarella Cheese – ½ cup, grated
Salt as per taste
Lots of water for cooking pasta
Note – you can add other cooked vegetables like carrot, beans, capsicum etc.
Step by step method with picture
For cooking pasta, boil the water.
When it starts to boil add pasta,
along with salt and few drop of oil.
Cook over medium heat. Stir in between while cooking. Keep cooking until it becomes soft but not mushy.
Once the pasta is cooked turn off the heat and drain the water. Keep aside.
Heat up butter in a sauce pan or kadai.
Add boiled or frozen peas. Saute for few seconds.
Add szechuan sauce,
Along with cooked pasta
Sprinkle black pepper powder and parsley (dry or fresh). Nicely mix with spatula.
Garnish with grated cheese, mix once more. turn off the heat.
Szechuan pasta is ready.
